LIBRARY HALLOWEEN EVENTS FOR BRAVE SOULS
Bellingham Public Library knows that Halloween is not just for kids -- and is presenting two spine-chilling adult-oriented events on October 31 at the Fairhaven Branch Library.
“A Meet the Author Event” from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Fireplace Room will feature Taimi Dunn Gorman presenting her latest book, Haunted Fairhaven, and answering questions about local paranormal activity. Gorman and a group of psychics and photographers spent an evening at the 107 year-old Fairhaven Branch Library this summer. Find out what they learned, and see if you can sense the spirits for yourself. Copies of Haunted Fairhaven will be available for purchase.
Later that evening, listen to Bellingham Storyteller’s Guild members tell exceedingly scary Halloween stories. This event will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Auditorium of the Fairhaven Branch Library.
Neither of these programs are recommended for children, but provide an opportunity for adults to celebrate Halloween, in a historic building with plenty of eerie atmosphere.
