Storytimes



The Central Library offers regularly scheduled storytimes for children of all ages.  Storytimes are free of charge and do not require pre-registration.  Check our online event calendar or contact the Children's Library for the current schedule.

Little Storytime

For children ages birth - 3 years with an adult partner.
A half-hour of simple stories, songs, finger and lap play and creative movement.  Lots of fun!
Mondays, January 14 - March 25, April 8 - May 6 at 10:05 a.m.; 10:35 a.m.; and 11:05 a.m.
Tuesdays, January 15 - March 26, April 9 - May 7 at 10:05 a.m.; 10:35 a.m.; and 11:05 a.m.
Wednesdays, January 16 - March 27, April 10 - May 8 at 10:05 a.m.and 10:35 a.m.
Please choose the one session that works best for your family.

Time for Tales

For children ages 4 - 8 years (parents welcome!)
Join us every Wednesday for stories, songs and a fun craft!
Wednesdays, January 16 - March 27, April 10 - May 8 from 2:00 - 2:45 p.m.

For children ages 2 1/2 - 4 years with an adult partner.
A half-hour of stories, songs, an activity and the hokey pokey.

Fairhaven Family Story Night with the Bellingham Storytellers Guild

For children ages 6 and up; adults welcome.
NEW: Looking to begin storytelling or craft your skills?  The Storytellers Guild is offering Storytelling Coaching from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.  Storytelling begins at 7:00 p.m.
Every third Friday of the month from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. in the Fireplace Room at the Fairhaven Branch Library.
