Storytimes



The Central Library offers regularly scheduled storytimes for children of all ages.  Storytimes are free of charge and do not require pre-registration.  Check our online event calendar or contact the Children's Library for the current schedule.

Little Storytime

For children ages birth - 3 years with an adult partner.
A half-hour of simple stories, songs, finger and lap play and creative movement.  Lots of fun!
Mondays through November 16 at 10:05 a.m.; 10:35 a.m.; and 11:05 a.m.
Tuesdays through November 17 at 10:05 a.m.; 10:35 a.m.; and 11:05 a.m.

Raccoon Time

For children ages 2 1/2 - 4 years with an adult partner.
A half-hour of stories, songs, the hokey-pokey and a craft.
Thursdays through November 19 at 10:15 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
Big Storytime

BIG Storytime

For children ages 4 - 8.
Thirty minutes of fun and information for children ready to separate from their parent for storytime.
Wednesdays through November 4, November 18 at 3:00 p.m.

Family Story Night with the Bellingham Storytellers Guild

For children ages 6 and up; adults welcome.
Enjoy an hour of traditional storytelling.
Every third Friday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Lecture Room.
