Bellingham Public Library offers streaming films and documentaries to card holders. Kanopy is an on-demand film streaming service. No waiting, no holds, just instant access to more than 30,000 of the world’s finest films, award-winning documentaries, hard-to-find classic and indie titles, instructional videos, and content for kids – all free with your library card.

  • You will receive 20 tickets to use each month.
  • Regular films cost 2 tickets and are available to stream for 72 hours.
  • Short films (30 minutes or less) cost 1 ticket and stream for 72 hours.
  • Children’s content, called Kanopy Kids, does not require using any tickets. Use the ‘Go to Kanopy Kids’ link at top of the screen.
  • TV seasons/series and Great Courses are charged and available based on the total length of the season/series/course.
    • 2 hours or less — 2 tickets — 72 hours
    • 2 – 4 hours — 3 tickets — 72 hours
    • 4 – 6 hours — 4 tickets — 7 days
    • 6+ hours — 5 tickets — 14 to 21 days
  • There is a rotating monthly selection of videos that are available to view without costing you any tickets. On the main page scroll down (and down, and down…) to ‘Unlimited Viewing’.
