Bellingham Public Library’s online events calendar has been upgraded and changed to the LibCal software platform from SpringShare. This has created a new look for the online calendar and new search options. Events can be displayed in a grid, list, or calendar view and sorted using different categories and audiences. BPL Meeting Room and Study Room reservations will also transition to the new online calendar software. Library patrons are now able to see online when Meeting Rooms are available to reserve. Study Room reservations will move to the new system on Sept. 9, 2024. To reserve a Meeting Room or Study Room, or to find out more information about them, click HERE.
Local Museum Passes will continue to be available through the new online calendar software as well. In partnership with the Whatcom Museum, Mindport Exhibits, and the Spark Museum, the Library offers free museum passes, good for up to 4 people per pass. Library patrons are allowed 1 pass a month, and can select which museum to visit as long as there is a pass available for it.
