Bellingham Public Library will host a series of summer Storytimes for children ages birth – 8 years starting June 27 and running five weeks through July 28, 2022. Programs will be held in-person at the Central Library on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, and at Bellis Fair Mall on Wednesdays.
All Library programs are free of charge. No pre-registration is needed for these events. Families are encouraged to drop in on the following schedule:
Mondays, June 27 – July 25 (except July 4), Preschool Storytime @ the Library (for ages 3 to 5 with an adult partner), 10:05 and 10:45 a.m., Central Library Children’s Dept. Engaging stories for preschoolers, songs, fingerplays and movement are featured in these 30-minute sessions.
Tuesdays, June 28 – July 26, Little Storytime @ the Library (for ages birth to 3 with an adult partner), 10:05, 10:35 and 11:05 a.m., Central Library Children’s Dept. Each 30-minute session features simple stories, songs, fingerplays and movement.
Wednesdays, June 29 – July 27, Little Storytime @ the Mall (for ages birth to 3 with an adult partner), 10:05, 10:45 and 11:25 a.m., Bellis Fair Mall. Each 30-minute session features simple stories, songs, fingerplays and movement.
Wednesdays, June 29 – July 27, Preschool Storytime@ the Mall (for ages 3 to 5 with an adult partner), 12:05 p.m., Bellis Fair Mall. Engaging stories for preschoolers, songs, fingerplays and movement are featured in these 30-minute sessions.
Thursdays, June 30 – July 28, Time for Tales @ the Library (for ages 4 – 8 with an adult partner and younger siblings welcome), 2 p.m., Central Library Children’s Dept. Stories and songs for this age group are the focus of these 30-minute sessions.
